What is Framer?

Framer is a website builder where you design on a visual canvas and publish the live site from the same place. Hosting, a CMS, SEO controls and AI agents are built in, so you don't need a separate developer or hosting provider.

Is Framer free?

There is a free plan: it comes with daily AI credits and publishes your site on a Framer subdomain. Custom domains unlock on paid plans, and an editor seat is $20 a month.

Do I need to know how to code to use Framer?

No. You design on a canvas and publish; AI agents handle pages, components and responsive work. Custom code is possible if you want it, but it isn't required.

Framer or Webflow?

Framer is faster from design to live and now ships AI agents; Webflow gives deeper CMS and logic control at a steeper learning curve. For marketing sites, I pick Framer.

Is Framer good for SEO?

Yes. Semantic markup, per-page meta controls, sitemaps, redirects and fast hosting are built in. The technical base Google asks for comes out of the box; the rest is down to your content.
